How to Support Arkansas Baptist College

Campaigns

Arkansas Baptist College

ABC Band Fundraiser

Greetings to each of you from your Arkansas Baptist College family! With thankful hearts and sincere appreciation for your continuous prayers, financial contributions, and all you do to help our college, we acknowledge you with profound gratitude.

We are proud to share with you that Arkansas Baptist College’s Enrollment is up. The Enrollment is now up at least 85% and still growing for this fall semester. We are moving forward with plans to add additional programs to the college. Programs include a Certificate program for CDLs, E-Sports, an Associate Degree in Cosmetology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information, and other programs based on the interest of students and the demand of the workforce.

One of the main reasons for this communication is to inform you that Arkansas Baptist College needs your support today more than ever. The College’s mission from its inception is to serve the needs of those underprivileged and less likely to succeed at institutions designed to serve the more advantaged students.

One of the areas that we are seeking your support is to reestablish a marching band. We currently have several students who are on campus and in need of musical instruments, uniforms, and a practice facility. While the College understands that this need is expensive, we have decided as we work to grow, we lean on the shoulders of our church family, community, and friends of the College to help us with this building experience. The average cost of a uniform is $684, and the cost of an instrument is $1,700 to total $2,384. Knowing this, we are asking that everyone sponsor at least two students.

As an incentive for your support, we will advertise your church, business, or organization on Buffalo Radio for thirty days.

As we move forward, we shall confidently continue praying, trusting, and believing that “He who began a great work at Arkansas Baptist College shall complete it at the end of the day.”

Annual Giving

Gifts to the Annual Fund

Gifts to the Annual Fund support the immediate financial needs of the College and its students. Gifts are put to immediate use to support student financial aid, student life, athletics, our new radio station, and support the maintenance of the physical campus. Should you wish, you can designate a specific area with the annual fund you would like to support.

  • Gifts to the Annual Fund can be made by check and mailed to ABC at:
    • Arkansas Baptist College
      ATTN: Institutional Advancement
1600 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive

  • Gifts can also be made to the College by credit/debit card online by clicking here. These gifts can be made as single gifts or set up to make recurring gifts.
  • Gifts can also be made by texting “Buffalo” to 501-506-5125.
  • HBCU Spare Change and I Heart my HBCU are apps that round up purchases on your credit and/debit cards and then use the “change” to make donations to HBCU’s you select. Designation of gifts are not possible using these apps.

Memorial Giving

The Reverend Allen, Sr. Endowed Scholarship Fund

  • Gifts to this fund provide long term support to the College through an endowed fund held at the Arkansas Community Foundation. The funds are invested and scholarships are awarded out of the growth of the funds’ earnings leaving the corpus of the fund to grow, increasing the value of the scholarships into perpetuity.
  • If you wish to make a gift to this fund, be sure to include a letter indicating your intent or note the name of this fund on the memo line of the check.
  • Call the Office of Institutional Advancement to create your own named endowed scholarship at Arkansas Baptist College. Doing so requires $10,000 in total funds donated to the College, however, this can take place over two years.
