International Students
International students who apply for admission to Arkansas Baptist College are required to comply with all rules and regulations established by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Services and to submit the following documents:
- A completed application for admission
- Official transcript from all secondary schools attended with English translation of these documents.
- Test scores made on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): A minimum score of 500 is required for admission.
- A deposit of one year's tuition room and board, and fees (if not on institutional scholarship).
- Evidence of reasonable proficiency in the English language. If English is not taught or spoken as the official language, the student will be expected to present test results from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL, P. O. Bob 899, Princeton, New Jersey 08541) with a minimum acceptable score of 500, or present a statement showing that an English Language School has been attended, or present an official statement confirming the student's ability to master the English language; and
- An official transcript with an English translation and evaluation of work done on the Secondary or foreign college or university level. This transcript may also be reviewed and evaluated by other agencies that provide such services within the United States. An international student with an F-1 Visa must enroll as a full-time student and make satisfactory progress as determined by Arkansas Baptist College. If the applicant has an Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-151) commonly known as the Green Card, a photocopy of the card must be submitted to be maintained with official documents in the office of admission and Records.
- Proof of current VISA status.

International Student Admission Requirements
A complete application for admission along with the following credential must be submitted:
- Official TOEFL scores of at least 500 as evidence of proficiency in the English language.
- Verification of adequate financial resources to finance the proposed course study.
[Arkansas Baptist College conforms to ACT 351 for the State of Arkansas (1991), which “prohibits the making,
forging or counter-feiting of a transcript, diploma, or grade report.” A person who violates any provision of
this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine not to exceed one
thousand dollars ($1,000), or imprisonment not to exceed six (6) months, or both.]
