Thank you for your interest in Arkansas Baptist College (ABC)….It’s A GOOD Thing Academically! The College proudly wears a badge of academic distinction that is one-hundred and thirty-one (131) years old and aspires to become one of Arkansas’ most distinguishing colleges academically for the next one-hundred and thirty-one (131) years.

ACADEMIC MISSION ~ to promote student learning and teaching effectiveness that align with the College’s mission while providing a high quality education undergirded by religion that develops students holistically.

ACADEMIC VISION ~ aspire to provide each student with a common knowledge that promotes intellectual curiosity and serves as a foundation for professional development and spiritual growth, life-long learning, as well as exposure to diversity and cultural pluralism.

At ABC, we are providing life-changing programs at an affordable cost, while at the same time offering smaller classes, to say the least. Students are encouraged to broaden their knowledge in a Christian environment that offers creative and innovative pedagogy to support and enable you in achieving success. With ten bachelor and seven associate degree options available, Academic Affairs is dedicated to helping you meet your educational and career goal(s). We offer a variety of pathways for joining today’s premier workforce (e.g. criminal justice, entrepreneurship, human services, music business, sports management, and Christian education) or transferring to a four-year degree program to continue your education (e.g. general studies, business administration, religious studies, public administration, and urban community leadership).

In addition, our partnerships with local business/industry and higher education institutions ensure that our academic programs are constantly evolving, so that you will be ready to succeed in tomorrow’s careers. Not to mention, pairing the academics programs with the outstanding services offered in our Testing Lab, world-class resources of our redesigned J.C. Oliver Library, and dynamic training from the Center for Teaching and eLearning (CTeL), you will be provided with the tools and support needed to succeed.

In closing, I encourage you to join the movement and become a part of the winning team. Your time at ABC will be a true college experience. I look forward to seeing you on campus.
