From the Office of Academic Affairs…

Thank you for your interest in academics at Arkansas Baptist College, the GOoD place to be. As Vice President of Academic Affairs, I am delighted to share with you some highlights about the college which has been transforming minds since 1884.

Arkansas Baptist College (ABC) is waiting to prepare you and other prospective students for careers through the academic programs offered in Arts and Sciences, Business Administration and Religious Studies.

At Arkansas Baptist administrators, faculty, staff, and students work to educate the whole student— mind, body, soul, and spirit. The low ratio of students to faculty ensures that each learner receives individual attention; physical activity courses and athletics enable students to keep physically fit; religion courses and religious life activities are designed to strengthen the spirit. In addition, ABC has implemented the “Achieving the Dream” initiative designed to improve students’ academic performance and completion of their degree programs.

Another outstanding initiative is the Center for Entrepreneurship housed in the School of Business; the Center is designed to produce not just business employees but rather employers who create and run their own businesses. These signature programs are available in addition to others in the social and behavioral sciences, fine and performing arts, religious studies and community leadership, Christian education, and more.

Both “Achieving the Dream” and the entrepreneurship program are part of the Vision 20/20 plan of Dr. Fitz Hill, President of Arkansas Baptist College, who is leading the way to excellence by Year 2020.

If you wish to know more about ABC, browse the rest of our website, or come and spend part of your day visiting our campus. Contact us to schedule a visit so that you can sit in classes, converse with our faculty and students, meet our coaches and athletes, or interact with band and choir members. We welcome you to be a part of Vision 2020.
