Below you will find a list of items that you are allowed to bring with you and a list of items that are strictly prohibited in the residence halls and/or off campus. Prohibited items brought into the residence halls or off campus will be confiscated and become property of the College. These items will not be returned to you. PLEASE DO NOT BRING THEM TO CAMPUS.

ITEMS ALLOWED IN THE RESIDENCE HALLS
1) Television no larger than 26 inches
2) Personal toiletries, (soap, tissue, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc…)
3) Bedding: Mattress pads, pillows, blankets
Pillow cases, sheets for Twin Size Bed
4) Laundry Supplies: LIQUID DETERGENT only
5) Cell Phone and charger
6) Surge protectors (UL approved)
7) Towels and washcloths
8) Wastebasket for trash; And trash bags
9) Standard Size Shower Curtain

OPTIONAL ITEMS YOU MAY BRING
1) Iron and ironing board
2) Shower mat & bucket to carry toiletries
3) School supplies: paper, pencils etc
4) Cleaning Supplies (mop, broom, bleach, etc)
5) Refrigerator: up to 2.0 cubic ft. (no larger)
6) Small Microwave- No More than 800 watts
7) Clothing hangers for closet
8) Posters or Pictures using non-permanent adhesives (ie., putty)
9) DVD Players and Video Game Systems
10) We recommend you get Personal Property Insurance

3) Flammable liquids
4) Extension cords
5) Portable Air Conditioners
6) Rice cookers
7) Coffeemakers
8) Water gel or loft bed
9) Grills of any kind
10) Fireworks
11) Halogen lamps and/or Lava Lamps
12) Portable/Space Heaters
13) Incense
14) Candles
15) Hotplates
16) Illegal drugs
17) Hot Flammable liquids
18) Alcoholic containers or paraphernalia
19) Furniture – NO extra furniture allowed
20) WEAPONS of any type: guns, knives, etc
